DIY found to lower the standard of Residential Building BTP in NSW - varies between 200% to 400% below Simulation Method when compared with NatHERS and far more variation expected to AccuRATE.

The Directors are Registered Architects and Members of the RAIA - Royal Institute of Architects. Victor Z Yanchenko being a Fellow of the RAIA.

Changes to the Architects Act:
In July 2004 there have been changes introduced to the Architects Act and Regulations.
These changes are aimed at safe guarding the profession as well as the public and are aimed at clarifying the use of the term Architect as well as restricting the use of the term Architect to only those who are Architects registered under the Act by the Registration Board of NSW.
There are heavy penalties for those who, such a draftspersons who use the term in an unprescribed manner. These penalties range from $ 11,000.00 for an individual and $ 22,000.00 for corporations who use the term Architect illegally.
Architects have a Code of Conduct which they must follow in dealing with the public as well as their own profession. As well Architects are issued with identification making it easy for members of the public to determine bona - fides of Registration.

The Practice is a Member of the Association of Consulting Architects

 

The Practice supports the RAIA's initiative - Archicentre and provides a variety of services for Home Owners, Renovators and Owner/Builders.

 

The Practice is a Member of the RAIA's Practice Services. As well the Practice receives continuing updates of current Environmental Design Initiatives through the service. 

 

HMB1.GIF (35560 bytes) The Managing Director Victor Z Yanchenko has successfully qualified as a NSW Accredited HER Assessor and the Company has completed numerous residential energy assessments for Developers, Builders and Residential Clients throughout Sydney. Recent changes to Legislation and the introduction of BASIX Certification to NSW for new residential development has meant that the previous accreditation and administration has been taken over by the ABSA (Association of Building Sustainablity Consultants).
